What we collect

RFI form
The name, email address, subject and message you choose to send. We ask for nothing else.
Server records
Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to keep the site secure and running.
Browser storage
One local storage entry records your choice on the cookie notice. It stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

We run no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not buy or receive personal information from anyone else.

Why we hold it

Form messages are used only to reply to you and, where you report a mistake, to correct the sheet concerned. Server records are used to diagnose faults and block abuse. We never use your details for marketing and never pass them to studios or platforms.

Storage, retention and disclosure

  • Messages are kept for up to twelve months after the conversation ends, then deleted.
  • Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf; some of their infrastructure may sit outside Australia, and we choose providers that apply protections comparable to the APPs.
  • We would only disclose personal information to others where Australian law requires it.
  • If a data breach were likely to cause serious harm, we would notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Seeing and correcting what we hold

Under APPs 12 and 13 you may request a copy of whatever personal information Neostex holds on you, and ask for it to be fixed or erased. Email the office with enough detail for us to find your message, and we will respond within thirty days at no charge.

You may contact us without giving your real name if you prefer, although we will need a working email address to reply.

Raising a concern

Please give us the first chance to put things right by writing to [email protected]. If our answer does not settle the matter within thirty days, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, reachable through oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

Children

Neostex is written for a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will remove them.
